By deploying our MINI ROV we can swiftly do inspections on all those hard to reach places. -Bow thrusters -Ballast tanks -Pipe lines -Valves
In this case our ROV flew in to perform the Class inspection on the valves of one of the vessels of our customer. After an assesment was made by a team on a job the choice was made to deploy one of our mini ROVs to inspect the Butterfly valves on a ballast system. By inventive thinking FN Diving saved our customer 3 days dismantling flanges on the total operation and avoiding possible damage on the valve seals. The mini ROV can easily be deployed to inspect bow thrusters behind gratings with openings too narrow for a diver to enter the tunnel, saving time needed to gain acces by removing and reinstalling the grid.

After finding deformation on the propeller blades during an inspection in Hamburg/Germany FNDiving performed on site repairs on the Propeller.
A regular intermediate inspection on a vessel in Hamburg reveiled a damaged propeller blade. In order to assure a minimum delay for the vessel, the decision was made to crop the damage in a way to maintain the propellers hydro-dynamic requirements.
After consulting the propellor´s manifacturer a repair plan was made allowing FN Diving to repair our customers propeller on site within the vessels scedule. By trimming the vessel the damaged tip surfaced and was cropped off dry, aswell as the opposite bladetip in order to balance the propeller. After the repair no vibrations were noticed.
The swift operation was possible due to a smooth cooperation between the FN Diving team, the ships staff and the propeller manufacturer, resulting in a cost and time effective
solution for the vessel.
